Job Description

The Opportunity:

  • The post holder is responsible for the deliveries of results in line with pre-agreed program/project planes, objectives and oversee the implementation of GBV and child protection programs in the PA and contribute towards achieving the country program goal of improved protection mechanisms and community practices against harmful traditional practices and violence against children and adolescents.
  • Plan International Ethiopia has put in place a gender and child protection policies that all of its staff must adhere to and sign.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA degree in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Law, Public health, Child Development and other related fields.
  • A minimum of 3 years of humanitarian aid experience applied in emergency/recovery response operations preferably in the area of child protection and youth program Activity.
  • Excellent knowledge of SGBV and Child protection minimum standards and basic principles; Good knowledge of SGBV and Child Protection case management.
  • Excellent knowledge of basic GBV, child protection and youth principles and child & adult development and learning.
  • Good knowledge of donor grants and contract regulations.
